Mandatory Fit Testing

Mandatory Fit Testing has been scheduled for the night of March 12th. If you are unable to attend notify your Squad Leader or Lieutenant ASAP! The time has Changed from 3 in the afternoon to our normal meeting hours. You will be fitted sometime during our meeting. You do not have to show up early that day.

Due to snow and ice we will be cancelling the morning session of the Explorer Academy. We will continue with the Afternoon Session Starting at 1P.M. At the Fire Training Center Repeat- We will not meet on the morning of 2-14-09 We will Meet at 1 P.M. at the Fire Training Center on Malibu Street.

Academy Schedule Change!

The Academy Live Burn Day and picnic will now be on March 14th! We need to meet March 12th between 3 and 5 PM! This is the only time we can get Fit Testing done. Fit Testing is a mandated process that makes sure your SCBA mask fits without leaking. Without this you cannot participate in live burns. There will be an outside representative that will perform the fitting process, he will only be there from 3PM to 5PM. The Academy will not meet on Satuday March 7th Recap: Saturday March 7th- No Live Burns, No Academy Thursday March 12th- Mandatory Fit Testing 3-5 PM Saturday March 14th- New Live Burn Day/ Family Picnic
